WorkflowBP is a unique solution based on the Microsoft Workflow Foundation framework. It is designed to be an enhanced medium for the development of Line of Business BPM solutions. WorkflowBP is built on top of Microsoft Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF) and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).

Industrial Strength BPM

WorkflowBP is based on Microsoft's Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF) which is available free from Microsoft and is included in all later versions of .Net. WWF includes a rules engine and a toolbox that allows inclusion of all types of activities in a workflow. WorkflowBP enhances WWF to provide a medium by which complete BPM solutions can be developed.

We believe that a successful BPM implementation requires understanding the technology behind BPM and also the technology behind the Line of Business in which domain the solution is to be implemented.

Human (Manual) Activities

WorkflowBP adds an open interface to WWF allowing users and vendors to create their own customized activities. These human activities or "Pridgets" are the key missing link in other BPM products. Human activities are assigned to users or groups, with escalation rules that allow them to be escalated within an organization chart. An Activity Manager is provided that allows users to login and execute the activities assigned to them.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Dashboards

WorkflowBP provides a Web based interface to allow users to develop customized KPIs specific to their business domain. Users can then pick the KPI's that they want to view on their Dashboard and monitor the performance of their organization in real time.
